French nationality, Eric Viale has an upward path within Intercontinetal Hotels group, in which he began to work in 2003 as Director of Revenue Management of the Southern Europe hotels and, soon after, of all the hotels in the group in Europe. Later, Eric Viale took over the Sales and Marketing Management at the InterContinental Le Grand Paris, one of the most iconic hotels in the group. In 2012 he was invited to take over the InterContinental Porto, aiming to reinforce the premium positioning of the hotel, making it the benchmark of luxury hotels in the city.
Before joining the IHG group, he worked for eight years in ACCOOR group, where he held various functions such as Front Office Manager at Sofitel Cannes, Revenue Supervisor Manager of group and Director of Revenue Management for properties in Paris. Eric’s resume also includes Concorde group, and Frantour group (Concorde Lafayette and Le Crillon) and Relais & Chateaux.
Eric Viale academic is Graduated in Hotel Management from University of Angers (France) and University of Houston – Texas (EUA).
