Nuno Tenazinha is a pursuer of science-driven knowledge, an advocate of evolutionary theory and a passionate learner of everything related to science, creativity, human behaviour and psychology.
After graduating in Biological Engineering and a 4-years research period in Computational & Systems Biology, he made a major shift in his career to nurture one of his oldest passions: the world of creativity. Between 2009 and 2014 he worked as a freelance web designer and front-end developer for clients in fields such as technology start-ups, events, e-commerce, real estate and culture. During this period he also helped found Bichos de Bairro, a pet-store in Lisbon with a strong focus on e-commerce and social media.
In 2014 he started KOBU with the purpose of creating a place in the Algarve with an experimental and strategic approach to brands in the digital space. Four years later the team has now grown to 12 members and is working with clients in Portugal, United Kingdom, Germany and Oman with brands such as: Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, Companhia Nacional de Bailado, HeartGenetics, Finastra, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, Pine Cliffs Resort, Anantara Vilamoura Algarve, Ombria Resort, Água Monchique, Mar Shopping Algarve, Designer Outlet Algarve, New Metrics, Liam Hodges, Nasir Mazhar and KTZ.
He’s also a trainer at ETIC Algarve in Creative Process and Strategic Thinking for Graphic Design, Multimedia & Communication Design, Responsive Web Design & Social Media.
