Rachel Crawford is currently Director of Marketing and Partnerships for acclaimed social travel app, Tripr.
Her previous roles include Head of Events and Special Initiatives for the award winning Generator Hostels. The innovative concept of Generator took the model of 1960s youth hostels and through a focus and emphasis on design and lifestyle delivered a step change in product positioning moving them into a new and innovative position targeting the next generation of travellers. Whilst at Generator she set up and led the Pan European strategy for events, new openings and projects. Pre this Rachel was the Hospitality and Leisure Analyst for Private Equity firm Patron Capital, owners of Generator, where her key responsibilities were strategic planning, feasibility and development for the group.
Prior to this Rachel gained invaluable operational experience within a variety of roles at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games IOC Venue, Luxury Hotels and SAGA Cruise Liners.
An Alumna of the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, She is a co-founder of the Young Hotelieres Summit. Her passions include innovation in youth travel, sustainable business, the art of hospitality, skiing, literature, photography and family .
